Spirit of Brookyln The “Spirit of Brooklyn” is a 7.3 metre Shark Cat cuddy cabin, fitted with 2 x 175 hp [with snorkels] motors. The hull is constructed strictly to internationally recognized Lloyds’ standards.  A good turn of speed is available  -  West Head to Kangaroo Point  in 7-8 minutes. An operating range of 180nm at 25-30 knots [a good turn of speed] would, if necessary, allow answering a call to Windsor, and return.  It is bright yellow and is easily distinguishable in rough weather.   The previous owners carried out many successful rescues, including some “hairy” bar  crossings.  This boat is definitely safe and capable enough to operate in CAT2 perimeters [7nm to sea etc]. Safety equipment aboard exceeds the requirements of the Rescue Board as well as the usual radios, GPS, flares, fire extinguishers, etc., plus a 4 person automatic inflating RDF life raft.
